A little birdie told us about this nice blendtape by UK’s Sourface. Featuring the legendary lyricism of Nas set against some of the best 9th Wonder production to date. If you’re a fan of both like we are… you can’t go wrong with this one!
Made in 2009 but with a definite nod to the oldskool style, this is poignant, heartfelt D&B at its very best. The arrangement deftly builds to a beautiful swell of echoed vocals, icey-atmospherics and rolling beats and bass. This one is certain to defy fashions and trends and will be just as moving in 2024.
In other words, rim shots on speed. You gotsta love it.
This track is from Dutch Drum and Bass producer Lenzman and it features the smooth, soft vocals of London’s Riyah. We’re going to be hitting you with more genres, but fear not we’ll always keep it soulful.
This is track is tranquil and hard at the same time. Swizzee Star has laced this track very right with ambient bellows and a hardf baseline. Skilzie maintains a nice flow on the track just the right touch of grime to make it listenable. If you’re looking for a slightly different sound , check this kid out — he’s only 20 but he’s making a name for himself the UK; we’ll keep you updated…
